My baby is sick

At night as it was calm and quiet, we were awake by the sound of a loud cry. It was our baby. We were puzzle as she was sound asleep just an hour ago. As I hug her, I could feel her body heat and she was sweating. This doesn't look good. My husband took her temperature and it was 38. It's not a normal temperature for a baby. That indicated that she is having a high fever. We gave her a medicine but that didn't cool her off. She was still crying. We took turn hugging and comfort her. We were worry. After hours and hours of unstoppable care, she was a last sound asleep again in my husband arm. I could hardly asleep nor did my husband. We afraid and also worry at the same time for her. I decided to took her to the hospital at the very next morning. I get my permission slip and took her there. She seem fine but I'm not certain. The doctor check her and her temperature was back to normal. That was a sign of relief. Reaching home, I gave her the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Not long she was rubbing her eye, that indicated that she is tired. I slept by her side just in case. As we were both sound asleep, suddenly she cry again. She was hot and sweaty. I look at the clock and it's past her medicine time. It was my fault. I quickly gave her the medicine and it took a while for her to calm down. After about 4 hour she was tired again so I took her to bed. This time I make sure she didn't miss her medicine. I sat there and watch her at the same time doing my work. Not long she was awake smiling and active. She was her normal self again...running, busting out laughing...things that she usually do. That indicate that she is well and ok. I was worry for her because she is my life..my joy.
